# genartx402


Batch art: GET /api/art/series costs 0.05 USDC per request (batch-settlement). Minimum deposit 0.50 USDC, followed by cumulative vouchers. Each request delivers one signature-seeded artwork. PAYMENT-RESPONSE.extra.chargedAmount is the artwork price; the deposit is escrow funding, not the price. Follow-up vouchers have no transaction hash. Claims and seller payouts are asynchronous. Use BatchSettlementEvmScheme.refund(url) for unused escrow.

A2A discovery: free card https://genartx402.0xmintmedia.com/.well-known/agent-card.json, JSON-RPC https://genartx402.0xmintmedia.com/a2a. Use A2A-Version: 1.0 and SendMessage for public connection information. This service returns a Message, creates no artwork, and never charges a payment. Make a separate native HTTP or MCP request to buy. Legacy v0.3 methods, A2A streaming and A2A payment tasks are not implemented.

MCP: Streamable HTTP endpoint https://genartx402.0xmintmedia.com/mcp, paid tool buy_art with empty arguments. Uses exact prices below. Free initialization and discovery; challenge in structuredContent, payment in _meta["x402/payment"], signed receipt in _meta["x402/payment-response"]. Requires an x402-capable MCP client. Payment-Identifier retries reuse the original purchase.
PNG: buy with ?format=png or Accept: image/png. Each sold artwork also has /art/{id}.png and /art/{id}.svg?format=png; conversion/download is free and keeps the same artwork seed. PNG dimensions are fixed at 1024 × 1024.

- Gas sponsoring: eip2612GasSponsoring is enabled for exact HTTP and MCP. Supply signer.readContract or ExactEvmScheme rpcUrl for allowance/nonces reads. The buyer signs Permit2 plus a bounded EIP-2612 permit when needed; the facilitator calls settleWithPermit atomically. Existing allowance skips the approval signature. Usage and batch routes do not enable this extension. No buyer transaction is broadcast.

- Flow: request → HTTP 402 with PAYMENT-REQUIRED header (base64 JSON) → sign → retry with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header → 200 with artwork JSON and PAYMENT-RESPONSE header (settlement tx).
- Easiest client: @x402/fetch (TypeScript) or the x402 Python package.
- Upfront variant: GET https://genartx402.0xmintmedia.com/api/art?flow=upfront advertises extra.paymentFlow="upfront". Payment settles before artwork generation; the default flow verifies, generates, then settles. Use the same URL for the challenge and paid retry. Upfront payment is already committed if generation fails.
- Idempotent retries: add a payment-identifier (16-128 chars) to PaymentPayload.extensions; a retry with the same id returns the first artwork and is not charged again.
- Receipts: PAYMENT-RESPONSE carries a signed EIP-712 receipt (offer-receipt extension); the 402 carries signed offers.

- Auth: Sign-In-With-X (CAIP-122). The 402 contains a challenge, no price. Sign it with your wallet and retry with a SIGN-IN-WITH-X header.
